- Edit PDF text is new: change a line of a PDF's own text where it stands, such as a date, a name, a figure or a typo. The new text is written in the line's own font when that font has every character of it; when it has not, the page names the missing characters and you choose one of the tool's fonts for that line. The preview shows the page as the copy will be before you save, and a line the tool cannot change is marked with the reason.
- Sign PDF resizes a signature when you drag one of its corners, keeping its proportions, or places it exactly when you type its place and width in millimetres. It can also add the date or your own text, such as your name in print, placed, moved and resized as a signature is and written into the PDF as text.
- The developer page starts with where to go: the tools' API (50 tools, 63 operations), connecting ChatGPT or Claude, Transfer, and your API keys and their usage, with an example call that runs a tool. It also says that API calls, unlike the browser tools, send their inputs to our server for the run.
- The home page is in Chinese when you choose 中文, its quick tasks included, and says that the browser tools keep files on your device while Matrix Transfer and the tools' API send files to our server. Matrix Transfer's first page and send form follow the same choice without losing the files chosen or the text typed, and its allowance gives the exact number of bytes left beside the rounded figures.
- Convert image names every result the same way, adding _converted before the new extension whether the format changes or not: photo.png becomes photo_converted.jpg, or photo_converted.png when kept as PNG.
- Date Calculator leaves out Singapore's public holidays by default when the device's time zone is Singapore's; you can untick it, and a shared link's own setting comes first.
- CSV Anonymizer replaces a postal code column with a short code by default, recognising it by its header in English or Chinese (postal code, postcode, ZIP code, 邮编), codes with leading zeros or letters included.
- Compress PDF describes its three choices in plain words; its answer on what each setting does keeps the exact figures.
- Excel to PDF draws diagonal borders; says when a workbook has no cells to print; converts a large workbook in steps while the page keeps answering and says how far it is; and draws Chinese, Japanese and Korean text in bold or italic as bold or italic, as PowerPoint to PDF and Word to PDF now do.
- Reconcile Sheets names in its summary the worksheet each table was read from.
- PDF to PowerPoint brings a table's rules, its cells' fills and a frame's edges across as shapes behind the text, where the page draws them, and names what it leaves out; text on a page turned by 180 or 270 degrees is placed where it stands, and each paragraph of a text box takes its own East Asian language.
- PDF to Excel reads a ruled table whose values are form fields as a table, and a 16-digit number that a narrow column wraps into two lines as one value; PDF to Word leaves a form's fields out, as its answer says; and where the browser refuses to copy, PDF to text selects the whole text for Ctrl+C.
- OCR scanned PDFs and images says when a page has no printed text it can read, and what to try; correcting the text keeps one Use in another tool panel beside its download.
- Teleprompter's Follow my voice can now use the microphone on this site: since the option came on 22 October, the site's own settings had refused it.
- From the nightly checks of the live pages: the reason beside a button that is off now says what is missing in Crop PDF, Extract pages, Add a text watermark, PDF to image, Rotate PDF and CSR Generator, and Split PDF names under its field a part of its ranges that is neither a page nor a range; Organize PDF, Fill PDF form and Sign PDF keep the keyboard's place when a button you pressed turns off or goes away; and Fill PDF form's preview shows the form's answers as they are now.
- Also from the nightly checks: Batch rename says when Undo has restored the original names; Save all and Download all keep the keyboard's place in Encrypt a file and the other tools that save several files; QR Code Generator shows the contrast of its two colours whether it passes or not; Label Maker no longer cuts pasted text in silence; Text Diff compares in the background, so the page keeps answering; Unit Converter converts Fahrenheit and Kelvin directly; and Compress image, Resize image, Font pairs, Banner sizes, SVG pattern maker, Pixel art editor, Print templates and Brand kit each fix a reported problem.
- On every tool page, the language browsers and screen readers are told the page is in follows the EN / 中文 choice, and a file chosen while the page is still loading is taken.

- Create ZIP can protect the ZIP with a password of at least 8 characters: each file's contents are encrypted with AES-256 in the WinZip format, which 7-Zip, WinRAR and Keka open with the password, and Windows' Extract All, macOS Archive Utility and this site's Extract ZIP do not. As in every ZIP, the files' names, sizes and dates stay readable; its answer on passwords says how to hide them too.
- Resume Builder offers Two columns beside Classic's one, with your contact details, Skills, Languages and Certificates in a narrow column on the right; Skills can sit one per line or side by side; and every font is embedded in the PDF, Liberation Sans or Liberation Serif for Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text, so the resume looks the same in every viewer. For applicant tracking systems, its answer recommends Classic.
- Excel to PDF prints the own headers and footers of a sheet's different first page and different odd and even pages, lets unwrapped text in the last used column run on over the empty cells beside it, prints separate print areas each on pages of their own as Excel does, says before converting when it does not know a sheet's paper size (that sheet prints on A4), and loads the language font for any character the PDF's built-in fonts lack, such as a Greek letter.
- PowerPoint to PDF draws a slide's picture background, each slide its own picture at its own transparency, and a text box's fill and outline behind its text; leaves out every slide the presentation hides unless you tick Include hidden slides; gives each equation its own picture; and draws a gradient in its true middle colour, worked out from where its colours stop.
- Word to PDF draws a picture the document stores without compression and reports how many damaged pictures could not be drawn; places a header's picture from its own paragraph, and a picture anchored in centred, right-aligned or justified text where that text puts it; and loads the language font for any character the PDF's built-in fonts lack, such as Chinese, a Greek letter or a symbol.
- Merge PDF keeps every link and bookmark that names its destination leading to the right page of the merged file, also when a file's two lists of named destinations give one name to different pages; and when two files share a name, keyboard focus stays on the one you moved.
- PDF to PowerPoint makes a page the PDF turns into a slide as a PDF viewer shows it, with its text at the angle you see it at.
- Unit Converter's Copied goes the moment the conversion changes, by a swap, a new value or another unit, so it never stands beside a result it did not copy.
- Subtitle Shift refuses a shift or frame-rate change that would move a cue past 999:59:59.999, the latest time it reads: the preview says how many cues it would affect and nothing is written, so every file it writes opens here again. No cues found no longer stands beside the summary of the text before.
- Font pairs keeps two font files of one family apart, such as a Regular for the heading and a Bold for the body, in the preview and the sample sheet; while Base size or Heading weight holds a value it cannot use, a note above the sample says which value it keeps; and a font file chosen while the sample's ZIP is offered takes that download away at once.

- PDF转PPT会把 PDF 中旋转显示的页面按 PDF 阅读器显示的样子做成幻灯片，文字的角度也和你看到的一样。
- 单位换算的“已复制”会在换算一改变（交换单位、输入新数值或换一个单位）时立即消失，所以不会出现在并未复制的结果旁边。

- Batch rename says once, in plain words, what is wrong with a rule it cannot use, under Find or under the numbering's fields, and the summary and the bar beside the button point to it; a file that is no rule preset says what to open instead; the preview's CSV opens Chinese names correctly in Excel; and its answer to Can I undo? says what no browser can prevent: a file another program writes at a new name in the instant between the page's last look and the rename is replaced, and Undo cannot bring it back.
- Encrypt a file's strength estimate recognises common passwords, English words and names, keyboard patterns, repeats, sequences and dates, judges the passphrase in the form the key is made from, and names what it found, never the text; Start again now empties both passphrase fields.
- The tools' API answers a file over its 700 KB limit with 413 FILE_TOO_LARGE naming the file and its size, and files over the limit together with their total, as its guide says.

- Quote and Invoice Maker lays its form out in five sections: all open on a wide screen, one at a time with Next and Back on a phone, and each closed section says what it holds and how many of its fields need fixing.
- Skip to content now moves the focus to the page's content, and after a run the result takes the focus and comes into view; on the PDF tools a page list that cannot be used holds the Run button and the reason names the part, such as 04; long file names keep a readable part of their row; and a skipped file is named with the files the page opens.
- Decrypt a file and Clean Office metadata save several results at once with Save all to a folder (Chrome, Edge) or Download all, and Decrypt a file's Start again empties the passphrase.
- Create ZIP's Start again resets the name and the compression, and files chosen from one folder name the ZIP after it until you type a name; Extract ZIP says how many files were extracted and how many failed their check.
- Split and join files recognises one part of a split file chosen on its own, switches to Join and asks for the other parts.
- QR Code Generator keeps the error-correction level you chose when the logo fits it, says why when it cannot, and reads phone and SMS numbers typed in full-width digits.
- Bill Splitter starts a new split in the currency of the device's time zone, or of the browser language's region, and says why; its FAQ explains the automatic choice and its limits, and full-width digits are read.
- Clean PDF metadata finds and removes the XMP metadata of every page, not only the document's, and of the PDF's other parts, such as graphics, annotations and bookmarks, except pictures, fonts and attachments, whose XMP it names and keeps; it lists the pages that carry XMP with up to three of the creators named there and how many more.
- vCard Maker lets you choose at the top what to make, a contact file, a QR code, an email signature or a meeting background, and shows the fields that one uses, with the rest under More details; a .vcf file cut short still opens, and the page says it may be incomplete and what it read from it; the contact's note goes into the QR code only when you tick Put the note in the QR code.
- Label Maker refuses a list in which text follows a quoted cell's closing quote, naming the line, instead of joining the two; it measures text as the PDF draws it, so the text stays inside its label, ends text cut off at a label's foot with an ellipsis, and names a label too small for one line of 5 pt text before making any PDF; and a first line set in bold now has bold Latin letters also when the labels need the Chinese, Japanese and Korean font, whose characters stay regular.

- The tools' API provides 50 of the tools as 63 operations on our server, using the same engines as the tool pages. Send a tool's settings and its files in one request with your API key: the answer holds the result and every file the tool made. The guide lists each operation with its settings and limits.
- Each run is processed on our server in a separate process that has no network access and ends with the run. Files sent in a request are held in memory for the run only and are not stored, and the files a tool makes are sent back in the answer and are not kept. The tool pages stay as they are: they run in your browser and never upload your files.
- Encrypt a file, Decrypt a file and the CSR Generator are not offered on the API, so their passphrase or private key never leaves your device. The privacy policy says what we keep for each call: a usage record, never your files or their names.
- The same tools also run in Claude once you connect it to your Matrix account. A tool that works on your files opens the Matrix panel in the chat: the files you choose there go from your device to our server for that run only, and the result comes back to the panel for you to download. We keep neither your files nor the result. ChatGPT follows once it has been checked the same way.

- PDF to Excel converts detected tables to .xlsx, retaining merged cells and number formats. Check tables inferred from layout and amounts with ambiguous separators. Tables inside scanned pictures cannot be read.
- PDF to PowerPoint creates one slide per PDF page, with editable text boxes and pictures in place. Drawings become images; scanned pages remain pictures. The first selected page sets the slide size, and other page sizes are fitted to it.
- Both tools process files on your device without uploading them, with up to 300 pages per conversion. An encrypted PDF needs its encryption removed first.
